We did it! We walked again in Seattle on September 7,8, & 9, 2007. 60 miles. 3 Days! What an experience. We were challenged physically and emotionally. We walked with the most dedicated and brave women and men. All with one goal, to beat breast cancer! We raised 6.8 million dollars in Seattle! In May we crewed for the Avon walk in Washington DC and for the 3 Day walk in both Phoenix & San Diego. 2007 was a busy year. Also in 2007 we added a 1935 PINK Ford truck to our "team". We took "Pretty -n- Pink" to car shows and the 3 Day this year to bring attention and raise awareness about breast cancer in our community! We got lots of looks and personal stories of great courage from survivors & their families! We are looking forward to 2008 and all the events that are scheduled. Look for our team "Sole Power" at the Avon Breast Cancer walk in Boston in May, the 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk in Seattle in September and Phoenix in November. Relay for Life events are also held all over the U.S. and offer the opportunity to raise money and awareness for all types of cancer.
