Domestic violence is the greatest contributor to the homelessness of women and their children.
- Domestic violence is the number one cause of homicide for female victims.
- Children who grow up in homes were domestic violence happens are ten (10) times more likely to be either victims or abusers as adults.
- The greatest percent of young men in our prisons between the ages of 18 and 34 are their for killing their mother's abuser.
We pledge 15% of our earnings will be donated to domestic violence victims shelter care, community education, and prevention as we work toward our goal.
We challenge you to look at your community. Ask the difficult questions. Listen to your children, your neighbors, friends, co-workers and church members. Work toward ending the violence in your community. |
